Topic:  Strategies for Promoting a Positive Atmosphere in the ESL Classroom
Summary:  The Canadian Center for Victims of Torture has been helping refugee survivors of
torture and warfare for the past 20 years.   For the past decade, we have offered our clients specialized adult English language classes, which are designed to help them overcome some of the extreme barriers to language acquisition which are the result of trauma.
