This two-hour IELTS information session is designed for ESL/EAP instructors who wish to assist students taking the IELTS exam. It focuses on three main areas:

• Part 1:  Understanding IELTS, covers each of the four modules of the IELTS test, providing a general overview of IELTS.
  
• Part 2:  Teaching Test Taking Strategies in ESL/EAP classes, discusses a number of test-taking strategies ESL instructors can use in their ESL classes
  
• Part 3:  Support for ESL teachers, exposes the participants to a range of free British Council teaching resources that can help them develop their teaching of academic listening, reading, writing and speaking.
  

This event includes a meet and greet before the main session, along with a lunch after the session.
